Tatjana Jamnik, rojena 1976, je diplomirala iz slovenskega jezika in književnosti na Filozofski fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani. Leta 2009 izdala pesniško zbirko Brez. Piše poezijo in kratko prozo, ki je bila objavljena v slovenskih in tujih literarnih revijah, antologijah in zbornikih. Preživlja s prevajanjem leposlovja iz češčine in poljščine (leta 2009 je prejela priznanje za najboljšo mlado prevajalko), urejanjem in lektoriranjem leposlovja ter poučevanjem slovenščine kot tujega jezika. Je predsednica Kulturno-umetniškega društva Police Dubove, v okviru katerega izdaja knjige s področja leposlovja in humanistike ter organizira kulturne prireditve v Sloveniji in v tujini.

Tatjana Jamnik, born in 1976 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, is a poet and fiction writer. She published a book of poetry Brez (Without) in 2009, her poetry and short stories are published in Slovenian and foreign literary magazines and anthologies. She translates Czech and Polish literature. In 2009 she received an award for the most perspective young translator. She also works as a belletristic editor and proof-reader, and teacher of Slovene as foreign language. A chair of Polica Dubova Cultural and Artistic Association where books (fiction, poetry and from the field of humanities) are published and cultural events organized, in Slovenia and other countries.
